Product Introduction

CLM488 is a 5V powered, full duplex, low-power RS-485 transceiver that fully meets the requirements of TIA/EIA-485 standards. CLM488 includes a driver and a receiver, both of which can independently transmit signals. CLM488 has a 1/8 load and allows 256 CLM488 transceivers to be connected together on the same communication bus. Can achieve error free data transmission of up to 1Mbps. The working voltage range of CLM488 is 4.5~5.5 V, and it has functions such as fail safe, current limiting protection, overvoltage protection, and control port hot swappable input. CLM488 has excellent ESD release capability, with HBM reaching ± 16KV. The product directly replaces international similar products with PIN, without the need to change the circuit board or system software, achieving complete replacement compatibility. Chiplon Microelectronics has developed its own testing plan to ensure that the factory products meet or even exceed the original specifications, supporting industrial grade (-40℃ ~ 85℃) working temperatures.
