Advanced technology: using CMOS technology, with extremely low power consumption, typical power consumption is only 10mA (when working at 5V)
Wide power supply voltage range: 3V to 6V
Synchronous communication up to 64 kilobaud
Asynchronous communication up to 38.4 kilobaud
Sending/receiving operations under a dual-buffering configuration
MODEM control
Error detection: It has the functions of parity error detection, frame error detection and overflow error detection, and reports to the CPU through the status register
CLM82C51A-2 is a USART (Universal Synchronous Asynchronous Serial Receiver and Transmitter) developed by Chiplon Microelectronics for serial data communication. CLM82C51A-2 receives parallel data from the CPU and sends serial data after conversion. The device also receives serial data from the outside and sends parallel data to the CPU after conversion. CLM82C51A-2 uses a silicon gate CMOS process to configure a fully static circuit. Therefore, when all operations are stopped, it operates at extremely low power with a standby current of 100 µ A (maximum). In terms of quality control, Chiplon Microelectronics adopts advanced testing solutions independently developed to rigorously test every CLM82C51A-2 product that leaves the factory, ensuring that its performance not only meets, but even exceeds, the original specification standards. Moreover, the product can operate stably within a wide temperature range of industrial grade (-40 ℃~85 ℃), without fear of various complex and harsh environments, laying a reliable foundation for various applications.
