CLM3616 is a two-stage high-performance AC/DC offline power controller designed for dimmable LED lighting fixtures. It applies advanced digital control technology to detect the type and phase of the dimmer, providing dynamic impedance to connect the dimmer and simultaneously control LED brightness. CLM3616 uses unique digital flicker free TM technology to eliminate visible flicker throughout the entire dimming range and minimize low-frequency output ripple current to the greatest extent possible. With advanced dimmer detection technology, CLM3616 can work with most wall dimmers, including leading edge dimmers (R-type or R-L type) and trailing edge dimmers. In addition, the cyclic waveform analysis technology of CLM3616 allows for fast dimmer setting response. When there is no dimmer on the line, CLM3616 optimizes the power factor and minimizes the current harmonic distortion of the AC line to the greatest extent possible. CLM3616 operates the main power converter to provide constant current mode to LED loads in a quasi resonant manner, providing high power efficiency and minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMI). It uses primary side sensing technology to achieve excellent LED current regulation under different AC lines without using secondary side feedback circuits and eliminating the need for optocouplers. CLM3616 simplifies the EMI filter and minimizes the number of external components to the greatest extent possible. The intelligent dimmer detection technology eliminates the need for high-power discharge devices. In addition, the digital control circuit of CLM3616 can maintain stable overall operating conditions without the need for a circuit compensation component. Directly Pin To Pin replaces similar international products without the need to change circuit boards or system software, achieving complete compatibility and replacement. Chiplon Microelectronics has developed its own testing plan to ensure that the factory products meet or even exceed the original specifications, supporting industrial grade working temperatures (-40 ℃~150 ℃).
